TLDR :

Jungle announced their game will launch on Solana, and announced a couple of other interesting developments:
- “For the Win” is a team-based hero shooter currently in Alpha testing in South America, and in its first month it accumulated over 100K downloads (Play Store link)
  - When you check the game’s description it seems there will also be looting elements (extraction) in the game. There’s also some gameplay available
- The game will reward players based on performance (Win2Earn)
There will be an FTW Grand Prix Tournament, likely somewhere in late August or early September. Plus, their Genesis NFT mint (free, 1000 supply) will mint on 06/09

Blockchain Gamer Biz posted a thorough analysis of the Web3 gaming market in Q2 ‘24, here are some of the key takeaways:
- Many of the positive trends of Q1 (token performance, investment trends, on-chain game activity, etc.) reversed in Q2
- All of the top gaming tokens declined in price in Q2
- Only four tokens (RON, SUPER, MYTH, and YGG) ended in the + when comparing them to their 2024 YTD prices
- The industry continues to expand with 157 new games added and a total of 994 tracked games (an ATH)
All-in-all, Q2 wasn’t great for Web3 gaming, with investments and tokens down across the board
- Yet, we can look forward to Q3 and Q4, with many exciting games opening up their Alphas en Betas, and even full game launches. There are a few potential catalyst events, which could turn this market around again

There’s a lot of Telegram gaming news this week, so why not give it a dedicated section?

Pixelverse’s (PV) $PIXFI token will be listed on “major CEXes” on July 18 (tomorrow). PV is currently one of the largest Telegram games (together with Notcoin, Catizen, and Hamster Kombat)
- With the amount of hype and velocity they have at the moment, it will be interesting to see what its opening FDV will be. Perhaps in the $1B range?
- Another factor that will be important to keep the Telegram games, and specifically the clicker-games narrative alive is how much farmers will earn. With so many “users” will their airdrops be worth it?
The game has also been shipping new game updates recently, including:
- A spinning wheel game, social profile, Telegram Stars integration, and Pudgy Penguins integration
- Outside of just clicking, PV is also developing a larger game (which not many know of). Will be curious to see how many players they can convert to their larger game ecosystem
